I was riding in my friend's 07 Convertible 281SC the other day and noticed his exhuast sounded deeper in tone than my '05, plus it seemed to have less overall decibels on the highway at cruise.

I had the dealer swap out my '05 divertor valve exhaust for the '06 exhaust under warranty.  I figured the '06 and '07 exhaust from Saleen would be the same, but I think his sounds different?  I read that magnaflow made all the Saleen exhaust equipment, but I do remember someone posts they maybe they change fro '07??
Anyone else noticed this?
One other thing, his car is an auto, but I don't think that should make the different.

I still like the idea of the flowmaster set up that was posted a few weeks ago but I just wish you could get the flows in stainless steel.

The auto tranny will make a difference in sound for a couple reasons. You are also getting into CAI's, mufflers, and such. I would guess it is probably a "grass is greener" thing mostly

The 05 Saleen exhaust was made by Bora.  That was changed for 2006's and beyond.  That might account for the difference.
