Alright.. I know everyone says the E7 heads suck.. BUT.. I found a set that have been ported and polished.. Are they worth spending money on? how much are they really worth? Said they are low mileage. And the guy has a Typhoon Intake upper and lower. Never heard of it but I hear its similar to the Holley set up... Any good? And whats a good value of these items. FYI "used"... Thanks

Depending who did the porting and how well it was done, they may be worth the purchase. I personally would give no more then $200 and that's if the port job is awesome. You can still make decent power on ported E7's.
ok that was a better answer that I was lookin for. I would hope they would help at least a little better then stock... So not more then $200.00. What is the upper and lower typhoon intake worth??? and is it any good..

You'd be better off going with a used GT40 intake off either a Explorer or Cobra. The typhoon I think as around 250.00 new. The GT40 will compliment the power band of ported E7's better.
The problem with going with a GT-40 on my 95 is buying all the extra stuff just to make it work.. The throttle body elbow and EGR stuff... Just seems like alot of work to make it fit.. The Typhoon intake wouldnt be worth it then..

you are going to need the same **** to install the typhoon intake....
well thanks for the heads up... The intake already has all the **** on it to make it work... Thats why I was interested if I could get it cheap enough.. But if its not worth a crap in helping my restricted 5.0 breath then I will go a different route..

E7's can be ported to make some decent power, but it all depends on who does the porting. An inexperienced person could make them worse than stock. Check with Thumper http://www.thumperoforangepark.com/ he has had a lot of success with the E7's and if you decide to with something else he can port that too, He also has some of the best porting prices heard of.
