Is it easier to remove the air duct from the shaker hood leading to the air box to remove the air filter? Does it just slide in? I don't have to worry about that one on my GT, but was wondering regarding my sons Mach. It's a pain enough on mine, knew you guys would know.

no, it's a lot harder IMPO to remove the whole intake from the shaker. just undo the piece of junk clamping the intake box otgether and change it that way.

So, to be clear, there's enough flexibilty to leave it connected to everything except at the clamped position? Do you Mach guys also remove the snorkel in the fender well? I didin't know if it would affect the ratio of air coming in through the hood scoop.

yeah, take the snorkel out. once you unhook everything, it'll be a cake walk. It wont affect the airflow from the shaker.
