but I'm nonconfrontational and don't like sating it to people's faces. So I find alternative, fun,methods of getting the message across. For example, last summer when I had my mustang still this kid was with me and I went to take a right turn at a green stoplight. I slowed to twenty right before hitting the turn and dropped it into second.
Halfway through the turn I slammed on the gas and free'd up the back end. At this point my car about 45 degrees off of the direction its travelling. The kid yells "OH MY GOD DEREK!!!!!!!" because he thinks we're spinning out and about to crash. The tires soon get traction again and the car straightens out.

He has never asked me for a ride since.

no seriously, i know what you mean. i gave some kids from work a ride in my car once, really thrashed on it, hung the tail out, spun the tires and just had a ****ing ball. 2 kids nearly **** themselves, a couple others were like "woah man where'd you learn to drive like that?" HUGE ego boost right there.

i'm not gonna lie, i ****ing love showing off. partly because its the immature side of me, partly because this car is so easy to control, but it might not seem that way from a passenger's perspective.

the last person that sat in my car cant seem to lean back into her seat. so i punched it every time i saw her leaning over. I had to stop it becuase she threatened to use her teeth[:-]while she performed her natural duties.

The only person that I can't seem to scare in my car is my best friend, I've gone head on towards another car in my truck and he didn't even flinch while the other kid in the truck was screaming obscenities. I can slide corners, roundabouts, and do cookies, none of which scare him, god dammit it's impossible. Although I have had a couple of people screaming "HOLY ****" in my car before, ****ing pussies.

Mmm.. a lot of them think their shiz don't stink or leg hump the guys that do know what they're doin. I now own an 08GT (sold my 00 V6) and I don't post much in that section. People with no experience flapping their gums then when you have the proof they're wrong... they still don't STFU.

There are exceptions. There are a few guys there that know their Shiz but their busy gettin leg-humped by the retards.

x2 i float around there ocasionally and all my posts go back to why are you even posting here... they seem to forget that the sn95s have been around for longer then the s197s and have experience with some of the stuff, and some of the members are just plain tools

i was driving my best friends gf, and it was her idea to "take the fun road".....s curves at 80, and we even got the car off the ground once lol....

ive only really driven like a complete jackass with people in the car once. we were all piled in the duarango and it was raining out and i kept sliding the back end out on corners. i even got a girl to hit her head on the window when the car whipped back around.

but now after telling this story i feel like a jackass for pushing my durango harder than the mustang. but i have to say it does have some pretty good low end pull.

It's not so much as how fast it goes in a straight line that scared them, it was going fast in the corners that scared the hell out of them. As we all know, these cars were designed for the twisties.[&:]

i cant even tell u how many times ive gone drifiting in the rain w/ my friends. we'd go find an empty parking lot somewhere and just let loose. each of us would have a passenger (usually). and every now and then i will drop the hammer on the highway w/ som1 in the car w/ me. but my friends arent pussies, they just smile and say fukk yeah.

I agree with not pushing it hard with a passenger in the car.


I will whip the tail out, smoke em a bit, string it out, but I won't push it to the limits. You never know what 200 pounds of displacement on a side you don't expect will do. That is enough to be the difference between going "damn that was awesome" and being wrapped around a tree.

i only drive hard if the people in the car are kool with it. otherwise i just drive....
