So my car was sitting outside of a friends house at a party, when i went to leave i came to find that some bastard put a hammer through my hood. So i have to replace it know and i am looking for a good cowl induction hood, preferably 3-4 inches. Also prices and sites would be good.

cowl hoods are sweet lookin, but dont you think 3-4" is a little outrageous? id only ever get one that big if i had something in my engine bay that needed it. something like 2.5" or less would give that nice sleek look, while not making it look unnecessarily huge.

I'd recommend going with a Cervini's cowl hood. They may be a bit pricey compared to other companies but the fit and finish it top notch. Well worth it IMO.

Kaenen, Mine looks better than my friends Cervini's. I have a 4 1/2", he has the Cervini's 2.5" The 2.5" is too subtle if you as me, but the 4 1/2" is downright mean lookin. You can order them from MPS, Mine was around $480 shipped, and when on perfectly with no adjustment needed.

first of all, id start asking around to find out who did it. get a mutual friend that everyone likes to ask around, see if someone brags about his little joke. id flip completely out on someone who vandalized my car like that. second, good luck on the new hood. i think a 2.5 or 3 inch cowl looks nice..but the guy who put the hammer thru your hood should pay for it.

I Totally Agree! Have either of you seen one in person? It makes a huge difference to sit behind a hood than to see it on the interweb. Everyone around me loves my 4 1/2 and the guys with little 2 1/2" hoods wish they would've bought one like mine, theirs look tiny and not even custom.

I got mine off of ebay with the fogs, bought the bezels and chin from ford, it's cheaper at ford than ebay amazingly enough for those 2 things. The inner holes are really nothing, but mine are going to be connected to my brake cooling kit.

It has one stock, it doesn't really look like a mach 1 style but if you look at the first pic it has it on there
