Alright, I'm just curious about everyone's opinions for what I should do. I bought an Alpine head unit and Alpine Type R speakers for my last car that was recently totaled by a motorcycle supposedly doing 15mph... Last car was an 01 civic btw. Great on gas mileage, not the best looking, not the most fun to drive... Ok, well, now I have an 02 Mustang V6 with the Mach 460 sound system and has my Alpine IDA-x001 head unit installed. I also have a PDX 4.100 amp to power my Alpines. Ok, down to the question. If I read right from some other websites, it sounds like the Mach 460 sound system basically has 4 components installed. If thats true, which seems about right from how it sounds, I want to replace the midrange with my speakers and possibly keep the woofers and tweeters preferably without too much modification. The speakers I have are 6x9s and 5.25s and I'm thinking about putting the 6x9s in the doors since the sound seems to come out of them more and they'd be closer up there. Well, pretty much, I'm just curious if anyone thinks this would work or if I'd need to do some major modifications or if there'd be no way to keep the woofers with what I want to do. My reason for keeping the woofers is pretty much a little extra bass without spending any extra money since I don't exactly have enough for the subs I'm considering for later. The Alpines can handle the bass a lot better than the stock system and they hit harder, but a little extra bass never hurt. Unless of course you have 2 huge subs and manage to break your windshield or make your friend throw up or something like that... Alright, lemme know what you think, thanks.

Ddh - paul has been sending pm's to people on here to try and sell some stuff.  MF does not allow people under 50 posts to sell items and does not recommend buying from new members for your own protection.
