Wrong Rear Axel? I need to drive stang again - 5/7/2008 7:57:16 PM    dantheman345   Posts: 89 Joined: 12/4/2006 Status: offline I snapped my driver side rear axel in half and I finally found a 1965 mustang 5 lug 28" axel but when I put it up to my old axel it was longer? I know the rear end is a Ford 8" because I bought some gears for it off jegs and they fit fine. I am totally lost and I really want to drive my car again.
