To the OP. You sound pretty desperate. Don't you read the signs?
Stick with your original date, she's cute, in a hot sorta way!
Don't be so quick to be negative and humiliate yourself for some girl. If she showed even the slightest hesitation about going you should have immediately withdrawn the offer to take her.
You need more self-confidence and esteem and less fail.
