somehow a hex wrench found itself into the cylinder and broke the piston and cylinder wall http://img361.imageshack.us/my.php?image=cylboreyk0.jpg anyone have a good short long block? 289/302 based acmav289@yahoo.com in so-cal

ouch call around and find yourself a low mileage 96-97 5.0 explorer motor add a nice cam and you will have a cobra spec motor[:D]

if you cant find the explorer motor my next choice would be a lincoln mark 7 motor 88-92 exactly the same as the mustang 5.0 ho from the 87-93 cars plus must yard dont know so its cheaper[;)]

yeah, you brought bad luck on yourself there! you must RECANT!! haha wonder if you left it under a valve cover and it worked through a valve or somthing.

that sucks[:o] I have a 1969 302 long block in the shop but it needs to be rebuilt.
