It's a little over $500 worth of stuff, I still need to get my flex though.

Justin, I need to get some stuff from you even if I am selling my Mustangs. At the very least I know I need to get some towels and I'd like to try your Obsessive Wet Wax. I'll probably hit you up for an order in a month or two. I've spent enough for now, haha.

Looks good. I've got a "little" order of 70 lbs coming in from Rick @ AutoDetailingSolutions.com. The Flex is an awesome tool, you'll love it and you'll definitely need it with that BMW clear coat !! One suggestion though, unless you've already got it, get Black Hole from Poorboy's. It's an amazing product.

I took a look at that Black Hole stuff and there is one thing that very much worries me about it, this sentence: "Poorboys Black Hole Show Glaze for Dark Vehicles allows you to hide minor imperfections on dark vehicles until you can remove them." I don't do covering up. By the time I applied it I could have probably already been well on my way to polishing out any slight swirls with the Menzerna PO106ff.

I dunno, I may give a small sample of it a try sometime if I can get some, but we'll have to see.

I think the description is misleading. It's got very MILD fillers like Meguiars #9 but it's not going to hide much, just like Meguiars #9. It's pretty much a pure polish. If you've never tried Poorboy's stuff, do it. You'll fall in love. The stuff goes on so easy, comes off even easier , and you'll achieve amazing results.

This is my car after a full detail. Wash, Clay, Meguiars #80, Poorboy's Black Hole, Poorboy's EX Sealant, and Meguiars #16.

If you guys are looking for a nice glaze you should checkout my OD Wet Glaze, adds a ton of wetness and depth.

I'd like to hear your take (and see some pictures) of that Under Carraige product.  And what will you use that stuff on that says STRONGER THAN ACID

Well, I don't live anywhere where I get salt or crap like that, so I don't worry too much about the undercarriage, but bare bones does a great job in the fender wells too. It's just spray on and is anti-stick and UV resistant to prevent future fading. It's a very simple final step for areas that most people forget. I'll take some pics when I wash my GT.

And the Grime Reaper is an all around degreaser. It works amazing under the hood. It's also good for wherever crap builds up like around your door jambs, and it's safe on wheels and tires. Hell, they even advertise it to clean your tools. 1 gallon makes 5 or even more, so for $20 it's cheap and works great.

I'll try to do a demo of all the products when I wash my GT. I will probably just steal my dad's PC and use it this time because I don't want to spend the money on the Flex yet. Might do it this weekend, it certainly needs it.

I've never dealt with Chemical Guys but I've heard some pretty bad stuff about their customer service. I've also heard it takes quite a while to get your stuff from them. One guy I spoke to said he wanted four weeks for his stuff. Like I said I've never dealt with them though so I'm not bashing them, just curious.

I'd say don't believe everything you hear. I couldn't have been more pleased with their customer service. I called in directly and spoke to someone (Paul) and he hooked me up with everything I needed as well as a few samples. Shipping wasn't particularly fast (FedEx Home Delivery), however I'm sure if I requested faster delivery they would have done it, but I didn't care all that much since my BMW isn't even here yet. Even then it only took a week and a half for delivery.

To be honest, they will come out and tell you that their consumer sales isn't even as big for them. They do a lot of sales to wholesalers and dealers. I don't think that they don't care about individuals, but when small talking with Paul for a little while he made it sound like the retail front end is just a small part of their business.

That's pretty much everyone though. Big names like Meguiars, Poorboys, etc make their money on the sales to the warehouses and distributors. Like I said I was only going off of what I had heard. I guess the guy just had bad luck or something when it took four weeks to delivery his package. I can't wait to see what the products do for you.

Yeah, that's true I suppose. I dunno though. I've known plenty of people with good experiences. It can go either way I suppose. I'll see if I can get it all done this weekend. :)

Why would everything be a fortune when it has 4 years of bumper to bumper warranty service all the way down to oil changes? Plus I'm only leasing it because I buy new cars too often and in 3 years I'll probably be ready for a new one again.

But I've got enough in a list of mods. It'll pretty much look just like the one in my sig. E92, Jet Black, I'm putting on the same M6 rims, coil overs, the aero kit for a more aggressive look, blacked out grill, really not much more. A tune once they figure out how to tune the new ECU they just started putting in the 335s.

I'll be sure to take pics along the way.

We've been thinking about leasing a BMW for a while now.  We go through vehicles like crazy and leasing makes more sense to me.
