We had to put her back on the dyno for some various bs tuning issues. The car runs a whole lot better now and she is definately broke in..

Best of all my a/f ratio is under control.. My O2 sensors are bad somehow, that's why my car had been running like crap.

What dyno thread? I'm confused.

I just noticed you were at 400 ft lbs before 2500rpms, very nice!

Hey Moose, if blueherd has an aeroforce gauge maybe he could look at his timing advance.?.?

Really nice numbers blueherd, how does your clutch stand it.

Looks great. I hope to be in that range this time next year.

How much do you think your LT's and OR H are helping?

If I am going to do it, I want to do it at the same time as my dyno tune so I only have to pay once.

Thanks,

Great numbers. I hope to be there someday. I wanna be ready for the Camaro and Challenger launches.

You'd better update your sig numbers now. ;)

There is still room to grow with this..We had lots of room in the timing. This was a moderate tune, very moderate..

So does that mean you think the exhaust upgrade is worthwhile?

Or do you think the extra is coming from the Heads?

Obviously a little of both, but it I am going to drop $1500 on exhaust I want it to do more than just sound good.

Thanks,

Yes the exhaust is worthwhile if you have long term goals of big hp. My goal is to build a 10 sec D/D so a built motor and full bolt onswill be needed for me,but if you never planrun your car on the street or the track stockheaders is your best option. My car is extremely loud at woot also, something to consider. When we tuned it we thought there was an exhaust leak because of the noise it made on the hp passes on the dyno.

Well...Also with a built motor you will need a bigger TB, probably a MAFia, along with better cams, heads, LT's and like mine 3" exhaust manifold back. This will help on your mph and give you hp. So long term goals would make it beneficial. You will match my numbers probably with just a whipple and a good tune

I am looking to go forged some day as well and just make the most power I can at 15psi with 8.5-1 compression. Thinking about 550rwhp.

That is a long term goal though, so for now I was just going to do the best I can with the 10psi pulley and a safe tune. Thinking 440-460rwhp. Then just drive it.

Sounds like I will put off the exhaust until the major motor build up.

Thanks,

I understand. I still need to shore up the drivetrain with 3.73 gears, one piece driveshaft and eventually a watts link. All of which are in the plans for the coming year.
