now im sure that last post contained all the information you wanted, but for ****s and giggles ill try and add my two cents now as well. i couldnt tell you what you mean by the "big grey wire" but i will tell you that the only big wire i know of is the antenna. now depending on what type of stock system you have, ford makes it quite tough to replace just the stock head unit and have everything else just keep on chugging along. but the best suggestion i can offer without knowing too many of the specifics is that you'll need the white connector with all the wires coming out of it that sticks to the back of the head unit. they are company specifc, so if you have an alpine head unit, you have to call up alpine and say, "hello i have model #1234567 and i need the wiring harness." you also need the wiring harness for whatever year mustang you have, chances are it is ford specific. you can get this at either best buy, circuit, or ebay, etc. then you get to have fun soldering all the matching colors together and then you stick THAT into the white connecty thingy that originally was jammed into the back of your factory stereo please note that i spoke as simply as possible, figuring you are new to this stuff
