Pretty sure you guys can figure that one out....Yeah..mmhhmmm- i got busted- again by Fl's Finest State Troopers.... My first encounter was in 2004 when me and a 2002 Z06 were at it in front of some faigrounds and we were clocked at 90+ in a 45.... I was nice and calm with the trooperand i just got a one day pass for court, which ended up in $200 fine and 25hrs of community service. The vette owner was jittery and went to jail-- he had a warrant...

This past Fri--- yeah, i got caught in some slow traffic, my gf was ahead of me in my truck watching for cops... i told her to meet me at the gas station by wally world... what does she do?.... go to the station just past base... Well i thought she was already there (at the one by wally world)cause she called me 2 times... So when i got behind the slow traffic, isaw a opening andgunned the ole muscletangand passed the cars... Needless to say thegas station she was at--- a state trooper was sitting right there pumpin gas. She calls me and says (a trooper just took off after you... i think).. i was like "WTF...for what".... she says (you werehaulin ass).... and yes,,, i kinda was maybe... So like 20secs later i sec cherries and berries like 1/4 mile back-- me beingdaring andthinking i couldn't be caughtand i slam the c4 into 2nd- the rpms go to 4500 and i hit the toggle switch--- shift to3rd @5800... then i see a road coming up... i turn (which was hard to do on 165r/15's radials up front)-- and it was over at that point.... Right when i turned down the road--- (NO OUTLET)--- i was like Fu**!!... so i proceed to hide behind a fence line a wait for my state trooper buddy... And oh yeah, he found me... He said something like i was trying toevade him or what not... I told him I pulledbackhere to call my gf and to not make the call on a busy highway"... he was like "yeah"... and walked off, and came back with a $80 ticket-- he couldn't right a full descriptive ticket because his car was off and he was out of the carand didnt register my speed... but needless to say i could have gone to jail for wreckless/careless, attemp to evade, speeding, street racin (its a fl law even with only 1 car) and lane violation... I was lucky...
Just to thinki was on my way to the track... wierd...

"they're stock not modded"....but when i hid behind the fence, i sat there, turned the car off, and held the phone up to my head like i was talking to someone.... then he pulled up behind me... yeah down here its real bad... due to h.s kids, spring breakers, military guys, and the fast crotch rockets riding around.... In 2006 they (state of FL) passed a statue stating that if even one car is testing their ability of speed, strength, or power on the street... it is considered street racing and the vehicle can be towed at the officers decision and or by court and will be ciezed by the state of FL. The driver will be fined up to and not and in an excess of $1,000, or 1yr in jail, and loss driving priveledges for 2yrs with 6mos probation.... Kinda hard terms but some how i/we still try it....

i was going to the track... but i had a change of plans... besides i couldn't go far-- it was a stretch of highway (4 lanes) and the next county over is famous for their sheriff Dept. being crazy, loving to give chase, making arrests, and one of the strictest counties in FL....


I honestly thought he didn't see me, and thought that fence line was hiding me.... it was 12ft or so wooden fence, and couldn't be seen through... but i learned...Besides like 2mins later 2 of his buddies showed one unmarked and one in a crown vic.... i think the radios are faster... I never understood the going fast on the way to the track idea. You're about to go somewhere you can go as fast as you want/can go. Maybe it's age catching up with me. About a month ago, a kid in an SRT4 had to be life flighted because he lost control of his car passing a mini-van and wrapped the car around a pole about a mile from the track, on his way to the track.

nah... i wasn't trying to race anything or anyone... except time...And with slow drivers around-- if you were here you'd understand... And i understand by what you mean(about to go to the track andeverything)... the spd limit was 45,i was in the fast lane trailing2 cars doing 35, and cars in theslow lane were flying past us... so i proceeded to pass, and on a downshift with my exhaust--its easily heard so thats what got mebusted... and oother reasons i was in a hurry... my gf was waiting (in the gas station of course), and i had a grudge match at the track to handle---and was already runnig late...

Got to the track, got the tech card, got my number.... I was in line-- 4 cars back from runnin (and it was 930pm by this time) and 68 fastback mustang race car blew it guts all over the track past the 60ft mark, and slit a tire cause a rod bounced off the track and cut his tire, then he slid into the wall.... With this track down here they take forever to f'n clean up. they didn't get done until 11pm, and me and the lady had to get up at 530am to get ready for a yard sale... So nope-- didn't run...

honestly when i do drive my car to the track, i get her go ahead of me because if any of you could ride with me for one weekend and see how cops/troopers act around here when they a young white kid in a sports car.... you'd know why i got her drive ahead... and she was also driving my truck just incase i were to break something at the track i'd have a ride back.... Besides WTF was i racing-- if it was anything it was time??? the mini van and volkwagon bug in front of me?.... never said nothing about racing on the street that night... the road was clear after i got through that traffic, and thats that.

if ya race, either (A) keep it the track, or (B)--- no bystanders, on a open road, check your asphalt first, know your surroundings, an no traffic...As for speeding--- it happens, ppl do it, i typically day inand day out just from rushin around.... it just happens to catch up with some of us... but yeah its kinda harsh for them to smash a car over that...

All you had to do is stop, he didnt have a speed gun on you lol, not like you passed him and seen him.
Dont try to think those vics are slow, some of them have AED /Allen Blowers on them and Tuning.

2)street racing violation (four days later), felony police evasion.......30 days in jail, 3 yrs in big boy jail suspended but hanging for 5 yrs, 2yrs no license. supervised probation, lord knows how many fines

This is all with a very very very good lawyer at hand, so he got a little lucky, but thats still pretty steep consequences for running.

BTW, he did get away, outran 7 city boys, till they looked at the dash cams after the chase, one got close enough while waiting at an exit ramp to get his plates.

Well if I were you, I would go to court to fight it. He didn't/couldn't gun you, so how does he know you were speeding, and whatticket to write you.That's just me though, I've gotton out of 1 ticket because of it, but your mileage may vary.

dude dont fight that ticket, 80 bucks aints nothing compared witht the court fees if applicable. Plus if this guy really had u on the camera he could nail your ass reallly bad and probably charge u with police evasion or whatever. Take it for what it is a very lucky ticket

If you don't contest that ticket, you are an idiot. They have to prove you were guilty, unless they changed the laws while I was sleeping. In NY that mean either a speed measuring device (radar/laser) or pacing you for period of time. I've never mailed in a speeding ticket pleading guilty in my life and I never will.

ever hear of drag strip? You pay $20 (or so) and you can run down the track and not possibly kill some body else other than the other moron in the other lane who knows the rules.:(

He dropped my reckless down to improper because HE was assuming that it was due to mechanical failure, thats exactly what he told the prosecutor [:-] (it did cost me $400 in lawyer fees, but he didnt even freakin say anything!)
