anyone ever put a v6 in a fox body and if so how hard was it

gas, i drive this thinga good distanceevery day and i need it to get decent gas mileage

why not just buy a fox with a 6cyl already in it? you can get them for dirt cheap because noone wants one.

they dropped the V6 in 1986. and most of them have problems by now.


OP, easiest way would be to convert to a carb'd setup, but they you have the problems on cold morenings and such. have you ocnsidered a SVO model? same, or better, gas then a sixxer would get, with similar power.

if your main concern is gas milage than you should save the money on the swap and just go out and buy an economy car. it will be much easier and probably cheaper.

ha yeah they arent that hard to find.. i got mine for 300

supersixmotorsports.com has 3.8/4.3 carbd set ups that would probably be easy to set up, give them a call they have a notch with a 4.3 in it that runs 10s (or did on the old setup)

Get a civic I hear they get good gas milage.

the fox i have now is a 2.3. i think i will just try to get a little more out of my 4 banger and just leave it the way it is.
