When drag racing or any other situation, do motorcyclist look at the tac when they shift, or do they shift off of sound, or some other method?

I'm pretty sure most everyone looks at the tach. Some guys try to say they shift off ear, but I don't see how that can even be accurate so I chalk it up to ricer talk.

I shift off the tach, it's kinda hard to tell the difference between 13,000 and 15,000rpms by ear.
