Yeah they mentioned the GT500, commenting on "oh but it has a live rear axle and the same interior as standard mustangs." Meh, its one comparo out of literally thousands. Can't win 'em all.

At least the 2008 Bullitt stands by itself. The 2008 Challenger looks alot like the new Chevy Camaro. I saw a picture of it in the new Motor Trend magazine and both cars look exactly the same.

Someone already tried that.....with a Charger R/T (similar weight/drivetrain) against a regular GT. The GT whipped that ass. Guess that's why they upped it to the SRT8. All things equal though, the Bullitt is a low 13 second car (13.2) and the SRT8 is a high 12 second car (12.9)..........at their best. Alot closer for a 100+hp difference than an SRT8 owner would like, to be sure.
I think it's kind of funny that the new charger is heavier than the older one. The mustang is by far better than the charger. It beats it in the 1/4 mile already and the mustang is cheaper. Put the differance in turbo for the mustang and sit back and laugh at the charger.

WTF?? The best they could do was a 0-60 in 5.4 seconds and a high 13 for a quartermile time? Are they sure they werent testing the 01 2V Bullitt?? They must have been granny shifting that car or just plain not driving it hard enough to only get a 13.7 out of it. The 08 Bullitt is and easy low to mid 13 car.
