all I can say is I am probably going to spend a whole lot more money on gas now that I have seen how much fun my car can be .  For the last few months I have had to baby the car because of the new T-5 that I installed..

Well yesterday I finally finished the clutch break in time, so I figured I needed to see what she could do.  I hammered it from a stop and the rear of the car damn near went sideways on me;  You can get to be 18 once right

Did you figure out what was causing the popping in the exhaust?

I leaned it out a little more and that has seemed to help... I am scheduled to go back to the exhaust shop and they are gonna check it out to make sure the exhaust system is ok.

Same situation here except that I still need to take it to the shop to make sure that my rebuilt engine break-in is fine

What do you mean exactly when you say "I finally finished the clutch break in time"?

manufacturers will recommend a break in period for new clutches;  I think usually about 300-500 miles of pretty casual driving.

anyone feel free to correct me if I am wrong but this is to bed the clutch material on the flywheel.  you dont want to overheat the clutch during this time as it will cause it to slip

Thanks for the reply.

How are the first two gears with T5 and 3.73? I still have my original 2.79 and it already seems to be short to me on these gears...

You leaned out the fuel going to the carb?  Glad to hear you are enjoying getting on it... I could not wait for the break in period I was super impatient!
