well im getting my rebuilt tranny tomorrow thought it would be a good time to replace the broken speedometer cable. im having a hell of a time finding the right one. mine is 58 inches long for a 1970 mustang with a c4 tranny. im finding the 80 inch long ones or the 58 inch one with a teppered end to the part the the gear goes on at the tranny. any one know where to find one fo a 70 thats the right length.

Years ago there were 2 shops in my area that made cables. Talk to the old guys at the parts store and see if they know of anyone still doin this.
Otherwise you may have to hit the junk yards.
I did not know there were different end styles. All of my C4s, C6s and AODs are the same and interchange.

i found the right one at cjpony. its 60 inches but 2 inches longer i can work with. it just that a lot of places said they had one but there 70-80 inches. they had the right ends but way to long. guess they figure if your hard up you figure out how to route it to make it work.
