Hi everyone,
I picked up my 2008 GT COnvertible last week and realized that the factory had failed to install the Trip Tunes option. After fighting with the dealer about this, the agreed to install it at the same price as the factory option would have been. It was installed today, and since the installation, the subs in the trunk don't work (I have a Shaker 1000 radio). I've read conflicting info saying that the option won't work with the 1000, and other places telling me that it does. Well, the radio can control the iPod properly, but without the subs, the radio sounds like garbage. (The subs aren't playing for any of the inputs - FM, Sirius, CD, or iPod)
Has anyone else experienced this? What's the solution? I would rather keep the Shaker 1000, but if it won't work, I will have to go to an aftermarket solution - I absolutely want the radio to control / charge the iPod and don't want to go with a modulator.
