Default Another CAI question

so it' time to get the mod that everyone gets.... cai and tune. I already have Pypes mid muffler exhaust Honestly what is the main difference between all the different intakes?? I really like the K&N because of their very accredited name. Are the BBK's and the JLT's better than the K&N? I also like the look of the K&N because of it's semi-factory appearence. As far as tunes go i thinkI will go with the Bamachips. BLAH BLAH. Anyone have any wise input... I know there are so many threads about CAI and Tune lol

Difference would be how much cash you want to spend and which one looks the best to you. There are a lot of choices for combos and custom tunes. Pick an intake and go with a tuner you prefer. K&N is a name for sure, but they seem to make a very generic model intake for basically every car out there today. The jlt or c&l are the most popular for a reason. Not k&n or bbk.Bama jlt and three tune combo.

Absolutely nothing wrong with BBK so dont mislead him. Choose your CAI for looks and worry more about who your buying your tune from. Look at my signature and then tell me BBK is inferior to C&L. I think C&L is popular because its the most expensive and people equate that to more performance. Which isnt quite true in this case.

Like most Guys will tell you, the tune is more important than the brand of CAI. I personally have the Airaid system with Brenspeeds tunes, and couldn't be happier.
