SO! I went to the Ford garage a month ago to have the recall fixed, which was to get the airbags recalibrated on the passenger side. Ever since I've gotten my car back, little things have been going wrong, for instance the ETC went out one day.

Now, I let my car sit in the garage for about a week, went to start it, and nothing! But my battery wasn't completely dead for the accessory lights came on and all. I charged the battery, and got my car started. So I was thinking maybe I just got a bad battery. Then, was going out to lunch and my friend tried to roll up her window, and when it got to the top the thing decided to roll back down automatically So now my window won't roll all the way up. So I'm assuming that maybe when I took it in for the recall they screwed up the computer?? Any thoughts??

if its an 05 and up the window needs to be calibrated, sometimes when the battery goes dead it forgets the positions at full up and full down. here is how to recalibrate the windows. get in the car shut the door, roll the window down holding the button all the way down untill the window stalls, keep holding the button for 5 sec, roll the window up all the way utill it stalls holding the button in the full up position, keep holding the button for 5 sec after it stops moving. this will reset the window positions for full up and full down.

the dealership had nothing to do with the window, battery voltage went low and caused the problem. the module that they refalshed is the rcm (restraint controll module) and only controlls air bags and seatbelt pre tensioners
