I was driving back home and as i was about to cut across traffic to go home a focus pulled out. So instead of going straight i just pulled a uie and then it was on. 1st run we went from a 55 roll and i was in fourth. We did the three honk thing and as soon as the third honk a mashed the gas and instantly pulled on him by half car and by 110 i was a bus in front and still pulling hard. Then we both slowed down and talked for a second and then we went again i was in fifth gear lol i thought i was in third lol. So we both take off and he instantly pulled half car and then as soon as i hit boost i was gone again. I had been wanting to race him real bad for awhile and finally did, but i was disappointed because it was alot slower then i thought but i shouldnt have expected to much it was just a focus. lol

Yeah, turbo'd focuses are ok, supercharged ones aren't really that fast, especially compared to turbo'd type s's . Put your car and mods/dyno #'s in your sig so everyone knows what type of beast your runnning. Nice kill and nice car

Nice kill, and depending on what year/model his Focus was, a bolt on Type-S might be able to beat him.  I've seen high 13's to low 14's out of bolt on Type-S' and if it was a bottom line Focus with a S/C, than I'm pretty sure he wasnt nothing but a mid 14 second car at best.

Yeah Supercharged ZX3 will do mid 14's.  Turbocharged will be mid/low 13's.

He never said he thought the Focus would beat him, he just figured with a S/C it would have been faster.  Mid 14's out of a Focus with an aftermarket S/C isnt really all that great.  Now if it was the 2.3 Duratec motor, than he should be in the 13's easily, with a turbo or S/C.
