I've recently purchased a set of vinyl stripes from Baltimore Street Mods; at the end of the summer, I'll be heading off to the University of Oregon (Go Ducks!) for grad school; and I'm looking to find out about how the moisture of the Northwest affects vinyl strips, if at all.
What's the word? Should I not install them, or will the rain/moisture not be a big deal? Also, I'll be driving my car out there; are there precautions I should take when it comes to preserving the stripes against wind damage/bugs/rain on the road?
Originally from that area of N. Calif and Wa. You should have no problems with the weather out there on the stripes. But....if you can swing it get your stripes painted on, you won't regret it and it looks better in the long run. Just if you get them painted, have them clear coated so you don't feel them
PDX resident here, but I would recommend looking into a clear bra from 3M, they are popular and VERY effective at preventing damange...wish I had invested in one when I bought it. Now...GO BEAVS!!!
LOL, welcome to the Pac. NW!!!
