When I have to stop fairly fast, I've noticed that there is a definite vibration.  I'm thinking that the rotors are maybe warped.  How do I check to know for sure and is there anything else that this could likely be?

take off your wheels and look at em.  if you warped your rotors, you propbably need new pads as well.  hopefully, you can get em machined...but if not, use this opportunity to upgrade.  good luck!

I assume that it will be easily told if the rotor is warped?

if the steering wheel shakes and the pedal pulsates when using the brakes your front rotors are warped for sure.

Well, hopefully I can afford to go ahead and upgrade since they need replaced anyway.
