looking at getting my gears finally installed. Talkign with a few different shops I have a couple of questions. The first is there a better brand of gear to get? I have motive 3.90's that are brand new. The shop mentioned that certain manufactures have gears that will be easier to set up, therefore being cheaper on the labor.

Also, he was mentioning my clutches might need to be redone. How is the best way to do this, rebuild or buy a new tracloc? ANyway to tell if it will need to be replaced before we tear into it?

do a burn out and see if 1 or both tires spin.

motives are fine.  FRPP are said to be easiest but motive makes frpp gears.
