HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAA LOL.

RRRRRRRRRRRIIIIIIIIIIIIGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT......

Don't make me dig up the people that had to take my article to BBY to have them fix their system after being told that it was not possible.  I quit installing their over a decade ago and have kept my promise to not become one of the customers that gets screwed there.  To do so has also meant that I have not bought anything from them in that decade that I left.

JBob250 -> RE: if you worked at Circuit City (5/7/2008 4:12:21 PM)

well ill add on to all the nice little tips and intricate tricks that they gave you.

if its a stock head unit, it has no RCAs. somewhere in the car, there is a converter that transforms speaker wire in to RCA outputs. or another possibility is that his amp has speaker-level inputs. this means that there are no RCA's at all, and that the speaker wire they likely spliced from his rear deck is headed directly in to his amp.

try starting at the amp and seeing if there are RCAs coming out of it. if there are, that means you need to follow those to where the input converter is. like i said, they are probably running off one of the speakers in the rear deck.

hey thanks i found where the converter is, its right under my rear speakers....thanks man i appreciate it

disturbed471985 -> RE: if you worked at Circuit City (5/9/2008 5:19:32 AM)

cc bb good for getting the latest video game not good at anything audio even there home audio section blows and is priced in most cases 2 times higher then what can be found online.

SumterBoy -> RE: if you worked at Circuit City (5/9/2008 5:41:27 AM)

you can get an enclosure 2 12" subs and a 500watt rms amplifier for $149.99

Yeah, but what do the subs sound like?

I've got JL 2 10w3v2 subs powered by an Alpine MRP-M1000 amplifier (600w RMS), and it sure as hell didn't cost $150, but it sounds awesome, even with the top down, at 70mph ;)

/fail courtesy of John's inept ability to comprehend decent taste in sound quality.

DraKhen99 -> RE: if you worked at Circuit City (5/9/2008 9:32:02 AM)

You again Hiss?  Didn't I say last time that taste was subjective?  And did I mention in my post anything about SQ?  Ok, so STFU.
