hey thanks i found where the converter is, its right under my rear speakers....thanks man i appreciate it quote:
ORIGINAL: JBob250 well ill add on to all the nice little tips and intricate tricks that they gave you. if its a stock head unit, it has no RCAs. somewhere in the car, there is a converter that transforms speaker wire in to RCA outputs. or another possibility is that his amp has speaker-level inputs. this means that there are no RCA's at all, and that the speaker wire they likely spliced from his rear deck is headed directly in to his amp. try starting at the amp and seeing if there are RCAs coming out of it. if there are, that means you need to follow those to where the input converter is. like i said, they are probably running off one of the speakers in the rear deck.
