i dont want to remove my strut bar but want to get a new intake. What are your suggestions to ones that dont require the strut bar to be removed or if you have your strut bar removed is there a big difference with the drive

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but there are no other intakes for the B-head 96-98s other than the Lincoln Mk VIII, which you definitely don't want unless you want to lose a lot of top end power. Removing the strut tower brace won't make any noticeable difference in handling regardless. The 98s didn't even come with one.

...unless you define a Kenne Bell blower as an intake, that is!

BBK is the only one I could find that will work with the STB. I put one on my wife's 97Cobra and it worked out great.

I don't see a 96-98 4V intake on BBK's site. Only 2V. Do you have a link?

Oooh...you're talking about a cold air inlet. I thought he was asking about an intake manifold since he said he wanted a new intake. 758Cobra...what are you looking for?

If you have to ditch it, it's not a big deal anyway. Atleast this is what I tell myself since mine didn't come with one.  If you do go with an intake that won't allow you to use the brace, I'll take it. lol.

I pulled mine off years ago (don't even remember why now). I have never been able to tell any difference in handling, but then again I've never done any autocrossing or road racing.
