Corvette Forums are notorious for a lot of douchebags too. I posted up once just to say hello, the reason I joined (to gather info on the C6 because I'm considering getting one) and some pics of my Subaru. I got screamed at as being a ricer without saying anything at all

Ive only hung out on srtforums and nasioc (impreza forums) and both were really cool. That was before I bought my car and was looking around at different choices. I have respect for all cars and Ive had good experiences on all the forums ive been on.
it is funny all car owners weither it's a ford, chevy, or mopar, all defend the home turf. i find that SOME f-body guys are a little more zealous about their cars. i like all kinds of cars. i drive a gto but have owned fords, mopar, and chevy all my life. with the right mods any of then can beat the other. it is too bad we cannot all get along like the great american rodney king said. lol

wow i didn't know this would go this far haha, but yeah I actually went to LS1tech last night too then and they seem all like pro's when it comes to tech and such like that, I didn't visit their "kill pages" but on LS1LT1.com, it's just horrible over there, even moderators attack ya with dicky things like just saying "mustangs are slow" if you even try to defend a Mach1!!

the dsm ones are pretty bad too, no one can beat a lightly modded gen 1 talon apparently
lol. I've heard that gen 1 TSi AWD's are capable of high 13-low 14's bone stock. I've had a couple friends with gen one TSi AWD's, that were lightly modded. Just intake/exhaust. And there's no way either one would've touched low 14's. My bone stock 2000 Cavy Z24 stuck right with one of them. He didn't launch it though. We did a small roll and he jumped it before I did and got about a fender. I hit it and he didn't pull at all. Actually, I started to creep up once I hit 3rd. We had to shut down though, because of traffic. If I had hit 4th or gone any higher, it would've gotten ugly for me.

God I can't stand all these arguments people get into over the internet. It's the annonymity. They hide behind their little user names and say whatever they feel like, because there are no consequences. The comments on car vids on youtube are the worst. If I ever read them, I have to ask myself "What the hell are you doing. These people are miserible cretins with no sense of respect. Their opinion doesn't matter" Typical YouTube car video comments Ocassional Nice User: Cool. That was neat. Ricer Dumb***: STFU My brother's friend's cousin's ex-room-mate's former-doctor's uncle's 1300HP Integra will beat that car anyday L0lz Redneck Muscle Car Owner: Imports are 4 F**gs. This car is gay too, it doesn't run 11's. Pr*ck Euro Tuner: America will destroy the world with their improper, overweight, gas guzzling vehicles. They are simply too loud...
And then this goes on, for pages and pages, over and over. /rant

haha yea thats from stopsign32v on tech hes always in the midst of a thread
lol. I don't mind stopsign32v, from when I used to go there. I've never really gotten along with Irunelevens, though.
Eh Irunelevens knows his **** though. He does ask for a lot of the crap he gets however. The few times I've talked to stopsign32v he seems pretty cool and actually knows what he's doing.

Yeah, when I first found LS1Tech though, I got into little spats with Irunelevens. And it went on for a little while. He thought I was crazy because my 2000 Cavy Z24 ran with stock SN95 GT's and Integra GSR's. Then, he talked about his GSR that ran a 14.9, with 150k bone stock. Then, about his '98 GT that was bone stock and ran a 14.6, or something like that, with a cracked intake manifold, I believe. He also got all butthurt because it ran with an extremely crappily driven '04 GT until close to 60. To give you an idea of how crappy the driver was, he ran a best of 14.4 in a '96 Cobra bored .20 over with intake, exhaust, and 4.10's. I guess him and I are cool now. I matured a little since, and see a lot of the other info he gives, and he does know quite a bit. Still doesn't know the capabilities of my old car though. lol.
Any car thats in the 13's on that board is considered slow by their standards....I guess since LS1 F-bodys have been around for a while that they have found their way into many younger owners (18-21) who want to be king of the hill in their hometowns, so they mod the **** out of them and look down on anything that is'nt as fast asa theirs......
I hang out at a local car meet in my hometown...Mostly F-body guys from nor-calls1.com (which are way younger than myself) and they are a great bunch of guys.....Ls1tech seems to bring out the worst of everybody..
