sounds like a hydraulic issue if anything (clutch master or slave cylinder). the master is easy, the slave is part of the release bearing (inside the trans bellhousing) so it requires pulling the transmission.

so this may be a warranty issue as long as i get it in with in the next month. i would have had her 3 years in june. FAZM i saw in another Trany related post you said you have had your trany out many times. Are there an special tool needed? Our fleet mechanic at work told me when the clutch needs replace not to come to him cuz it would be a pain to swap out. but if it turns out it is the clutch maybe if i can explain that the job is not as big as he thinks it is he might tackle it.

nope really easy. take out the driveshaft (12pt 12mm bolts) disconnect the shifter remove the h/y pipe support the transmission remove transmission to engine bolts. remove transmission. a long extension and a swivel helps out a lot.
