Before I tell the story, let me tell another funny story. I was at a stop light next to this older guy in a buick. I had my windows down (no music because i was using gps) and he had his windows down. I pulled up to the light in second letting the car slow down itself before I put it in neutral so I made quite a bit of noise. After giving it a little gas when the light turned green, I hear the guy shout at me "Youre car is so ****ing loud I cant even hear my own music!" I turned and yelled "thanks I take that as a complement" but i dont know if he heard me lol. But I went away very happy. About 20 minutes later I went by an STI trying to make a uturn. We made eye contact as I drove by so I knew he wanted to go. I got in the right lane and slowed down and he caught up to me a couple miles down the road. He pulled up next to me and I gave him the knod. I got over behind him and followed me down another couple miles until we made a uturn. At this point, my heart was pounding because I knew he wasnt stock and probably 1/2 second faster than me in 1/4. I figured my only chance (if any) was to take him from a roll. I saw him put on his blinker so I followed. I got over next to him and held up 3 fingers. He gave me a knod and we went from 40mph. I was pretty damn nervous at this point because i knew it wasnt going to end well. He did the wot and we were off from 2nd gear. He immediately started to pull away. I looked down and was at 5600rpm so I went to third (I really really need a sts) and he jumped out in front of me even more. I kept going and slammed into 4th this time without a huge jump. I let off at 90 because there was a car ahead and he was several cars in front of me. I pulled up next to him at the next light and he was very cool. Talked for second. He had his car had intake, exhaust, and an aggressive tune. I told him my mods and he said it sounded ****ing awesome. I said yeah you got me pretty good but good race see you around and he knodded and we went our seperate ways. Although I never really had much of a chance, a sts would have helped me immensely. It was a good race though and a lot of fun. I know it didnt turn out well for me, but It could have been a lot worse. I waited a little too long to shift to third but I was caught up in the moment lol. Hope it was a half decent read.

Nice run. A stage 2 STI, which is intake, turbo back exhaust and a tune, should run mid 12's. You didn't have a chance, even from a roll. But kudos for trying and kudos the the STI driver not being a tool bag, which a lot seem to be.
