yes the kit comes with stickers, but why advertise? I used to have a supercharged tc and if the OP drives the car on his sig, he would've been better off saving his gas, I embarrased a few unsuspecting people back in the day.

There is a Scion TC that I wanted to race a while back. He had a license plate that begged for a race, but I never got the chance. I think he lived in my old neigborhood. Anyhow, when I was dropping my motor off to get worked on at the shop, I saw the car in there. He was getting a turbo kit installed. Hopefully I'll meet him on the street one day. It should be fun.

My buddy girlfriend has a new tc and Its quick, I think that tc would have showed you something

Sorry but until the S197 4.0 sixxer came out, Mustang sixxers were far from respectable. I'd say 85% of the cars on the road could beat it. Are you one of those that thinks just because something has 4cyl that it's slower than a 6cyl?

I can name off the top of my head several NA 4cyl's that would rape a pre S197 sixxer..........Sentra SE-R & SE-R Spec V, Ford Focus ZX3 SVT, Acura RSX & RSX Type S, Toyota Celica GT & GTS...........................Shall I go on?

yes it can, and the s/c thats sold for the tc does not whine like the roots style blower on the cobalts and other cars, you wouldn't know what hit you until you looked under the hood.

A friend of mine has a 3.8L Thunderbird and I can pull almost a full 330 ft from 45 to 100.

hmm nice list.. however are you aware that the Challenger first off isn't even on the road yet, and they're supposedly not even releasing a V6 model yet? Not to mention, was the last V6 Ferrari made in the last 15 years??

There are plenty of V6 "sports cars" out there... and you forgot Porsche. But, a V6 Mustang isn't really a sports car, technically neither is a V8.. they're sports coupes, but that's besides the point... you don't buy a v6 Mustang/Camaro/Charger/Challenger to go fast.. and if you do - that's your own dumass fault. It doesn't make it less of a Mustang (the fact that it's a V6), but you just have to know your place.

DISCLAIMER: This doesn't apply to V6's that run 400rwhp. There is always the exception to the rule!

and i do agree you don't buy the smaller displacement v6 to go fast, more for practicality. and that one needs to know there place. which is why I don't go prancing around saying my car is the fastest thing out there - but it isn't the slowest, that's for sure! Ford's come a long way with the v6 engines, and as much as many would not like to admit it, I think that's where the majority of newer technology will be pumped into the way oil prices are going. Hell, Japan's got smaller displacement engines tweaked for longevity and reliability! At some point America will start demanding the same - if a lot aren't already starting to do so. Don't get me wrong, no matter what, I will want to own at least ONE crazyass GT in my lifetime.

again though, like you said, just because it's a v6 doesn't make it any less of a mustang. sounds fair enough to me [8D]

I hate rice too, but you sound like your making excuses. You missed a shift regardless of when the Scion took-off, soooooo you probably would have lost anyway. Keep those loses to yourself(don't post them). I lost in my 06 GT to clearly inferior cars when I bounced off the rev limiter, but no way I was going post details.

i even double clutched, then finaly when he was 100ft away after my car had not been
under power for 30-45 seconds it wasnt worth the gas to catch up theres always a second chance
i so thought i screwed up my car but it working now so its all good
but i need to get a tune up that could be another problem

Meh... we got a 99v6auto and I am amazed how good it pulls, even after 82k miles. Not from a roll, oh no... But I beat a smug kid in a charger v6 about a month ago. I wouldn't call them slow, and surely a match for the TC unless you do it from a roll. Which is for pussies anyway.

NO its OK, really. I beat a v6 New Edge in my 07 Focus ZX4, teh sedan [8D]

FYI, i dont think its a good idea to rev on someone to ask them if they want to race you. :eek:And if they happen to take of without revving back just let it go and catch'em at the next light.

What could you possibly need a tune for??? I will assure you that is not part of your problem.

Well this is going back to what you had originally said. Not the last like 200 postings (not that i'm saying anyone is wrong). But you said "now theres some guy in a fricken Scion tC thinking he's all big and bad". I have personally seen dumb asses like that. One of the guys at my work used to have a 99 Escort ZX2 that he had put an exhaust, intake andheaders on. Plus some visual effects like rims. He had also lowered it 2in. One day he said that he had beaten a "2002 style" (so not sure what year but he said it was the same body style as mine) Mustang GT. Everybody said that he was full of **** and we still don't believe him to this day. Unfortunately I ended up buying my GT at the same time he totaled his Escort, so I never got to show just how full of **** he was. So just because it "seems like he beat you", even if he does go to his buddies and brag, doesn't mean everybody believes him.
