Scenario: You're 19yrs old, you have $7k in the bank, your mustang has been dyno tuned at 310rwhp and runs high 12's and has a loud exhaust and turns heads, you don't street race and only hit the track a couple times a yr, your rich grandparents gave you a college fund for tuition/gas/car-insurance till you get your bachelors degree, your starting salary will be $40k/yr when you get out of college and get a job at 23yrs old, when you get out of college you want to get a house as soon as you can because the longer you rent an apartment is money down the drain if you can afford a house. At 19yrs old, do you: A: Spend a couple thousand dollars or less on mods for your car to bump your car into the mid to low 12's. B: Save a little more and when you can afford a supercharger and a rebuild for your car get it. C: Save most of the money, but get yourself a couple Xbox 360 games and new HDTV D: Save your money and only use it when you need it, who knows if you'll have an emergency/big-problem one day or you can start saving for a house. D is also b/c your car is fast enough for your age/already and your not a complete speed junkie.

definitely C. this sounds stupid, but i dont think id keep in touch with some of my few really good friends from college/high school if i didnt have my 360 and live.
pps Mustangfanatic4...is that ur pic or your GF? if it's you, you're cute
Isn't she like 30 years too young for you?
OP: May as well save that cash money. You sound happy with your car, just spend a few bucks here and there as you need it. If your job predictions crash and you end up having to sell your body for drug money, you'll be glad to have a little extra in the bank. (You know, in case you hit a dry streak and still need the drugs)
I was in the same situation, and wasted all my money on a modified 351w. Only guy with a 1965 mustang 351w on the block beating new gts all day long. Haven't regretted it once. So I would say get a supercharger, but thats just me.

First off, congratulations on having A) generous grandparents and B) a plan and a head on your shoulders. Sounds like you already have a sweet car, save your money and once you get financially stable after college you can have more toys.
