hope not....wouldnt be able to tell the difference between the gt and v6....would kind of hope that with the little more we spent on our gt's, it would look a little different from v6's.
My boyfriend was driving my car, and he romps on it while trying to make a left turn here comes this 99-04 mustang gt coming up beside us, and my bf is toying with this guy trying to get him to race us.
Well we come up to a red light and he says, " No way man you'll woop my @$$!" My bf says, "Its a V6!"
Light goes green and we lose of course. but still that was pretty cool that that guy thought we'd woop his @$$
Cool, good for you. Its great feeling good about your Stang, after all, thats why we have them right?

it was probably because you have dual exhaust....theres no way to tell a 6 and an 8 by exhaust note stock....hell i sat behind a s197 gt the other day and i couldnt even hear the damn thing
I have the stock exhaust and it is quiet unless I'm around 2500 rpms.
