Ok, I know I'm going to catch a ton of crap for this, but, I need to know...

I'm pretty anal when it comes to my car and I don't allow smoking or drinks in my car unless it's bottled water.  But, one night I'm out picking up some fast food for the family....normally I DON'T get any combos, cuz I don't want the sodas....

Anyhow, this one time, I get this family meal deal and it comes with this big pitcher of pepsi.  It's too big to fit in a cup holder so, I think,"ok I can do this and it's not far from home."  While driving and trying to shift, the soda goes flying and splashes my console.  I have it cleaned and steamed my carpets, but the buttons on the climate control are sticky now.

My question is there a trick way to clean this up or do I have to dismantle the interior to get to it?  I also have the carbon fiber Roush interior, so will that have to come off?  I'm so pissed at myself.  Yeah I'm a dope, but if anyone has any advice, please help.

first just try some soap and water and if that does not get it off try an all purpose cleaner and that should get it off

You would have to take apart as much as you can or you will always have some soda residue to deal with.

Wow that sucks!!  I'd see if you can borrow Leonard and Sheldon's Time Machine and go back before you made that horendous decision

If you don't get the reference, then you obviously don't watch The Big Bang Theory.....you should, funny stuff

Try getting in there with a mild cleaner like Meguiars Quick Interior Detailer and a fine detailers brush followed up with a microfiber.

you can buy a shark brand steamer from lowes for around 99 dollars and the steam will get down in the vents.

be  careful with it, though

a steamer is a great investment as it can be used in and around the home, as well as the vehicle
