i have just purchased my first Mustang an 07 V6 in Alloy Metallic, who else on here has got the V6 and also do you have any pics of them as i want to know what mods to get first and it would be great to see some modded V6's

Looks good man! Is it an auto or manuel? First thing I would do would be to take those mustang stickers off the sides. I'm not a fan of stickers or decals.

Nice ride! Are you planning on new rims? Some guys on here just painted the inside of the spokes black. Actually it looks pretty good making the chrome part stand out more. Or you can purchase a nice set of rims. ;)
Do you plan on changing the exhaust? I put duals on mine and I love it!

Here's mine, an 08. I call her Addison.

She's got C&L cold air intake, Bamachips 93 Race tune, FRPP 3.73 gears, FRPP t-lok, GT take off single exhaust.
Appearance wise, she's got GT takeoff rocker panels, Pony fender emblems, louvers, 14" antenna, sequential tail lights, honeycomb rear panel, 3D carbon upper grille, lower billet grille, and a painted Fang chin spoiler. I'm getting my GT500 spoiler this week too. Total aftermarket spendings so far is about $3000.

here's mine. 1/4 window louvers ($175), billet fuel door ($80), painted side mirror covers ($150), shorty antenna (did it myself=free). Total= $405

also it is an auto as all my other cars have been manual and i fancied a change as i do a lot of driving in the Traffic.

It's the 3D carbon grill. It's a replacement grill, not an overlay. Meaning more work!

Just wanted to say welcome aboard as well. Love you car as well as your dad's....very nice cars you all have there!!

My GT mufflers are coming tomorrow, looking forward to putting them on. My next mod is going to be the roush hood scoop and then I will be getting stripes painted on shorty after the scoop. Can't wait!!:D

For some reason vinyl silver stripes don't hold up as long as say white or black. I think it has to do with the metallic that is in the stripe.
If you are serious about stripes and want them to last for a long time, have them painted on.

Yes that may be a better option i will have to get some quotes for them to be painted on.

i am really stuck in choosing a set of Wheels... i want 20's and maybe a black or dark centre i like the look of the foose nitrous but would love to see a car with them fitted!

- Two racing stripes down the car (not through bumper)
- Blacked out panel
- Black titanium gas tank w/ lock
- 30% tints
- GT Muffler

These are the basic mods that are relatively cheap that will make your 'stang seem lil but more out of the crowd.

first thing i would do is take a picture of your car without the saleen in it its making us v6ers look bad :0 then i would get dual exhaust but dont listen to me all ive done to my car...so far is put in 2 more subs 12 inchers they bump real good

same exact thing for me man. nothing but 2 12s added for now. but theres lots to come :)

Just to let you know, I got a quote from the local body shop here and they quoted me 550 and that was going to include painting the hood scoop as well. I also got one from maaco and they told me 500.

Not bad to get some stripes painted on. I will only put stripes on my car if they are painted, not a big fan of the vinyl.

I have 20" Cobra replica rims....fills out the wheel wells nicely. :-)

I had a buddy look over my Airaid system while i revved up the engine and all is well! The noise I heard was the air shooting out of the airfilter. So no leaks!! ;-)

I can def feel the difference and am happy with the purchase. Ican't wait to get a tune!!

Tint is a nice feature with Summer finally here. 35% tint on fronts, 20% on 1/4 windows and back glass. (nice heat reduction, and looks good as well)

Hey guys thanks for all these pics and ideas its definetly helping me to decide what mods i want to do, i will post some pictures of mine as soon as the mods start happening.

Here is My 2007 Windveil Blue I noticed this color is no longer available, does that mean no one likes the color? Really though I do enjoy this car it's my daily driver.

Im with you buddy i want 20's to just because they fill up the wheel weel although that black one with 18" cobras looked superclean
as far as those rims ive seen a stang around here with rims like that but they were all chrome not a fan though the black might look alright

Thanks! To be honest I was dead set on buying red until the Grabber grabbed me!! I love it now. She is my daily driver but I show her on the weekends so the color works well for that.

If that is your car in your sig, I really like the look of it. I have an '07 Black Pony myself, but it has the "Mustang" stripe along the bottom. I've thought about removing it, but I just can't make up my mind.

man i was in the same shoes as you last month...and i hesitated taking the stripe off. but seriously i love it soo much without the stripe and not regret it one bit

There are so many things I'd like to do to my car. I'm thinking I should lose the spoiler I have and replace it with the spoiler I see on the GTs.
