Turbo'd? So you figure it detonated and busted up the piston/rod assembly? That's one nice thing about carbs and tunes, you have to physically put it back together so you remember what your jetting was and you don't have to worry about software failing to load properly. That sucks, but it's also an opportunity. Stroker with some ported heads and cams .

I should find out today what ST motorsports would like to do as far as the combo.

My thoughts is that the orginal STOCK factory tune was loaded with had alot more timing and less fuel.  Which means kaboom rather quickly.

Man, that really sucks. I know how you feel. My old block bit the bullet last year, and the worst part was, I only got to drive it for about a month before I had a bearing crap out and destroy everything. Bad luck I guess. Good thing is, you can build it better this time around. It's what I'm doing, and this build will be way better than the last.

I'm having it built to last and to be able to handle a bigger turbo in the future.

The turbo on the car should max out at around the mid to low 500 rwhp mark on pump gas, maybe more but probably not.  I drop it off next thursday to get worked on.

Oh well, that's the way the game goes though. We've all broken stuff etc. Spend the bones to rebuild it to take a real beating, and then don't worry. Of course, the tune does still have to be right.
