Would you recommend me buying one for my mustang? Any gains in hp? Do they sound good at all speeds. I've heard that when you are going 55-60 mph it sounds like theres a hole in the muffler. I really need some advice, I really want to buy the muffler but I need some help! Are the maxthunder and aeroturbine almost the same?

Go to you tube! tons of sound clips. "In my opinion" aeros sound a bit ragged(oh man, that will get the aero gang hunting me down:)....were all friends here:)) I think the flowmaster american thunder sounds the deepest. The most like the old muscle cars. Thats what I'm looking for. But ANYTHING sounds better than the stocker. By the way, gt take offs sound pretty good for the money($50), but a lot quieter than areos.

5-8hp gain. And it sounds great whe you idle around. But it gets ricey if you give it like half throttle.

about 2.2-3k rpm it sounds kinda weird and has some drone, low rpm it sounds nice as well as when you step on it. I'm probably going to be switching to the FRPP duals soon though for looks/FI/deeper tone.

The AeroTurbine is a great head turner. Mine sounded a little ricey when I first got it. But once it got broke in it droped in tone and sounds great.

Actually, does anyone want mine? I will be replacing it soon with something a little quiter. It was great when the car was new and tight, but now, there are so many annoying vibrations inside the car, ITS GOT TO GO! Seriously, anyone wants it...100 bucks!

Here's a clip of mine. I've got other ones on there if you look at my other videos, some of which I get on it at half throttle and full throttle.

FYI - I purchased the Pypes Street pro Axelback from American Muscle and it sounds very similar to Victoria's MRT!! :-)

I also have a video on Youtube; however I am not able to locate the link at work due to the security firewall in place. It takes over month or so to break in; however once it is broken in it sounds really good! Like a lot of single exhausts, it sounds a little ricey at higher RPMS.

HERE'S THE DIRECT LINK TO MY YOUTUBE VIDEO.

Good luck!

Go to you tube and type in: Pypes 409 Stainless Steel Street-Pro (http://www.americanmuscle.com/pypes-dual-exhaust-9604-v6.html)

Hi Kevin,

I've got the full dual Pypes setup with Street Pros.

Love them!

I have a ton of vids on Putfile.com

They sound super-deep when broken in, yet when they are cold, they emit this Hell-raising scream that I haven't heard from any other brand... definitely grabs their attention.

My V6 has been mistaken for a GT many times.

i had dual aeroturbines for about 400 miles...idle/slow speeds it sounds awesome..give it some gas and hit that 3k RPM mark and (in my opinion) your only one step better sounding than a civic with a watermelon cannon hanging off the back

so i ditched them and went for dual GTAs..best deicsion ever

I liked mine so much...I bought another for my Hemi Ram and custom fabricated a side exhaust using it. It does drone a bit...but it sounds Bad A**! No regrets here.

SOHCman,

Nice videos! Thanks for sharing! :)

I def like the Pypes Streetpro as a single exhaust. However; I am actually planning on going with the FRPP set up once I get the approval from the wifey. We havea baby due in 2 weeks, so the duals are on hold for a little while.

Man, seeing the videos with the snow makes me miss Pennsylvania! That's where I am originally from.

Have fun w/ your stang!

When I was looking at mufflers a few months back I wanted the loudest thing possible. I didn't care about drone, or cops, or annoyed neighbors. So I decided to get the Aeroturbine.

I had mine on for about 1/2 hour. My honest opinion..I couldn't stand it. It was ridiculusly loud. With a ridiculous amount of drone. When I floored it I got nothing but pops out of it. I couldn't hear my stereo if it wasn't almost blaring.

I bought a GT take off on E-bay for $30 bucks and I've been nothing but happy since! Hardly any drone, but from the outside its nice and deep. Not excessively loud but just right. And the price is unbeatable.

Its up to you. If you think you can handle insane amounts of drone, go ahead, cause that's what you'll get.
