I posted this in the Shelby section but I figure that it will get more response here.

My car is getting water in the passenger side rear floorboard. The dealer can not figure it out. Has anyone else had this problem?

No matter what the car is under warranty and this is the dealers problem .They should try spraying with water at various places around the door and roof while someone stays in the car to see if they can pinpoint where it's coming from.It could be coming from the passenger door or the top of the trunk lid door opening .

They had it for a week the last time. They supposedly hosed it down numerous times. I am calling them again tomorrow to see if they can figure something out.

I believe there's a TSB for the leak. I know I saw a thread that had instructionsto help the dealers fix it.

First you have to figure outWHEN you get the water. In the rain, when you go through a puddle, or when you spray that high pressure thingy at the quarter car wash at it. That should help you figure out where it is coming from. In my experience, the stealership is LAME. And what exactly do you mean by "posting it here you'll get a better response" Your lucky your wife has a cool car!! Oh by the way, you dont leave your dog in the car for long periods of time???? Sorry,I know thats not funny but I gotta throw something at "the Shelby guy":). Rock on bro!! a stang is a stang!! But... my...my....sixxer would... ummm kick you ass...!!!

I think it gets in when driving in the rain and after a car wash. I was thinking that the right side quarter glass may be leaking. It is hard to tell. Oh and I figure that there would be more views in the 4.0 section. It is the first place and usually the only place I go on here. I actually like my wife's car as much as mine, for different reasons, and drive it about as much. It seems to be the one that doesn't have any mystery problems.

You have the passengers sideunder dash water dispenser option.
We almost all have it, from 05-08 model years. There are horror
stories about trying to get it fixed under warranty. There is a TSB.

I took it back to the dealer today. I only have water in the passenger rear floorboard. I think it gets in when driving in rain. The owner of the dealership is getting involved and seems to genuinely want to make this right. I suggested that they take the seats and carpet out and drive it in the rain and see if they can find anything. It is supposed to rain the next three to four days this week so they should have an opertunity.
thanks for all of the feedback. I will let you know what the "fix" is when it is found out.

Dealer called today and said that they think they found the leak. It is coming from the bottom of the windshield. Funny thing is I didn't think that the front floor was wet. Anyway they are ordering a new carpet.
