Has anyone experienced  big puffs of white smoke sometimes with custom tunes ????  seems like   when the car sits overnight and  i go to start it up  both bama and brens tunes  i get alot of smoke  not sure if its tune or something else   07 gt  5500 miles on it shouldnt be smoking any info would be appreaciated   It doesnt smoke all the time but enough to make me concerned

YOu don't have O/R exhaust right? Also the car will smoke either way when it's cold

I had an issue with my brenspeed tune with it doing that. It would have no throttle response either if it was cold. It would die as well. I never got it fixed in the tune because I went with a S/C and never had that issue again.

Nothing to worry about. A lot of S197's do it. Mine also did it with the stock tune. Mine does it whenever the engine had run for a short time(less than a minute or 2) during the previous startup. But if it had run longer than that, then there's no smoke on the next startup....ever. So I try to run it for at least 2 minutes or longer during each startup.

The 4.6L tends to smoke if the previous start was a short one, such as starting it to pull into the garage from sitting outside.  Happens to mine every once in a blue moon.

are you guys refering to smoke from the actual engine bay or from the exhaust?

I'm assuming exhaust. I'd be REAL concerned if we had white smoke pouring out of the engine bay...
