so I have thought about it and I think that I would be able to compromise some of the GTs civil daily driving abilities for all out drag racing both on and off the strip. I was thinking that with uca/lca's and that rear swarr bar -4:10s would be the better choice in both acceleration and 1/4 mile times. I am pretty sure I'll be running only street tires on the streets (no radials) and possibly full on slicks at the drag. I know I know..4:10s are just too steep for the auto and 3.73s are the better choice, but with both cars equally modded (AUTO) which car would be quicker or would they be about the same??

Im in the same boat but i have a manuel and my car is a DD. My car come w/ the 3.55 unlike ur 3.31 stock gearing. So either 3.73 or 4.10 would help u A LOT on the track. I'm not sure if 3.73 would be worth it since i all ready have 3.55. and also, i would think 4.10 would be the best for the track, auto or manuel.
