maybe someone can assist me...I am looking for a decent head unit that has gps navigation and a decent size lcd...

my problem is that I have the 2000 mustang with the single DIN...I don't want an external GPS

any recommendations on a single din gps head unit?

I had considered getting a GPS system in my car as phoenix is a big city and the roads can be a little funny to get around on as well.  The problem that I ran into was that the area that I live was just barely developing and at the time (8 yrs ago)was little more then dairy farms and hay fields but now there is the states larges mall, and auto mall an a hospital with in a mile of me(been great for the property values!).  GPS decks require updates for areas like this and they are generally a couple of years behind.  Since I use verizon I started using their GPS system that they have and have been happy that the results are updated, and that it is cheap.  If it is something that you will only use a couple fo times a month they you can pick up a day at a time for $3-4 per day.  IF it is something you will use constantly it is $10 a month.  For the 3-4 times a year that I have used it it has been nice to not have to pay a huge $$$ to get it, but always have it with me as well.  I was with a buddy that got lost a few months back and it was nice to have it at a moments notice.
