How my 1994 SHO would fare against a S197 sixxer.

My SHO is an auto and is rated at 220hp and 215ft/lb
I'm fairly sure the S197 is rated at 210hp and 240ft/lb

I'm not sure but it seems like it'd depend on if the mustang had a manual or auto.

yeah I'd think you would deffinetly weigh a couple hundred pounds less but I have no clue on what the SHO weighed, but I'd hope it would be a lot less than a S197

I know wikipedia is verrrrrrryyyyyyy unreliable but it lists the curb weight as 3472lbs so I say still kinda close stock for stock but big nod to the TQ Monster

I was going to say the same.. if both are autos sorta eliminates any driver mod possibility with edge towards the stang.. if he has a manual and sucks then  you can probably take it..

If you had a stick, I'd say you would win without a doubt.  Being that you have a handicap (auto) I'd say drivers race

I would say from a dig the torque monster will take you, from a roll it has to go to the SHO

I actually think the sixxer takes it... Those motors are good - now the new edge ones are a different story... the RWD, the torque and the gearing give it to the sixxer...

Id give it to the sixxer, mainly because its a much newer car that is going to run just like it did when it rolled off the lot.  I doubt the same can be said for very many SHO's.  If yours is really well kept then it could be a damn good race.  You should throw up some pics of your SHO, I really like those things
