I know, I know.....most people think the Shaker 1000 sucks.....maybe they are right, but for now, I'm happy with it.  One day, I will prolly upgrade, but in the meantime I'm doing other mods I have much higher on the list.

My question is this.  When I had a Peripherial iPod connected to my shaker (when it wasnt causing dash errors and was working right), it had the ability that when a song was playing, the band name and then song name would scroll across the l.e.d.  Now, after removing it I'm wondering if there is some setting on the stock player that allows it to do the same.  As it is now, when its a long band name, I see all or part of that and not the song name unless I press the "text" button.  When I do that, it shows the song name, but then only for a sec or two, and then returns to just showing the band name.  Is there a setting to have it continually scroll?  I've tried to look through the owners manual, but havent found anything (though its very possible I just missed it).

Suggestions (other than replacing the unit)?

Thanks
Bryan

I appreciate it.  Thanks.  But when I returned my Peripherial ipod conversion deal 9-10 months ago, they didnt have a fix yet.  So I've been doing without my iPod in my mustang.  I heard the problems were fixed, I just havent gone out and got another one.  It got bumped down the priority list on mods so it may be awhile till I get around to getting another.
