Its amazing that no matter what is happening (or not happening) in this country, someone always finds a reason to bitch. Cinco de May (May 5th) is not a national holiday in the U.S.. It is just another day that calendar companies decide to put on their calendars. Hispanics dont really remember what this date signifies, its a sad truth. Its not another reason for us to drink or because were jealous; trust me its not. Our women and kids are reason enough to drink on a daily basis. Jealousy of what? Also an infestation? give me a break, im sure a native american said the same thing when white ppl started to reproduce in large quantities. Now im not racist in any way, i like to say that I hate everyone equally. All im trying to say is that there are a lot of ignoramuses (that's right, this is a word, look it up) out there that believe that their sh*t dont stink. Grow up! If you go out for Cinco de Mayo, look at who's partying up; It will be college students and older people (of many colors) who enjoy mexican drinks.

I think the plural of ignoramus is ignorami, but I could be mistaken.

ORIGINAL: Subotai_95 I can't remember what year it was, but it's the anniversary of the battle where the Mexicans and americans overthrew the spanish emperor Maximillian in the Spanish-American war and Mexico became independant. Kind of like a Mexican 4th of July. I want to say sometime in the 1840's.. And it may BE important, but this is still America.. We honor Mexican heritage by celebrating a MEXICAN holiday, try honoring AMERICAN heritage by not waving your friggin flags in our streets all the damn time.. If everybody would just STFU and stop bitching nobody would have any problems.. Some of the best friends I've ever had are hispanic and they feel the same way I do about it.. Um the spanish-american war began in 1898. During that war, the US took Cuba, Pueto Rico, and the Phillipines from Spain. You have the wrong war bucko Disclaimer: Im not Mexican lol LOL.. Ok so I got the name of the war wrong.. But we DID deploy troops across the mexican border in the 1830's/40's.. I remember that much. Since I'm apparently off on my history, anybody have the answer to WHAT that war actually was? I seem to wanna say Mexican American war, though I believe this was with Santa Ana and not Maximillian no? At least I did better than Mr. Mexi-fag up there.. Moron.. And for the guy who mentioned the our streets thing a few posts back, no, I'm not mexican. As I said I'm an Irish American white guy that was bitching about all the bleeding heart Latino liberal pussies that walk through American streets waving damn mexican flags bitching about how hard they have it, and giving all of the upstanding Latino citizens of this country a bad name.

how about when all the Mexicans were protesting waving Mexican flags yelling VIVA MEHICO! and what not they were organized "protests" to speak out about the treatment of "undocumented workers" aka ILLEGAL ALIENS.... give me a break. the people protesting that weren't here legally ironically dont even have the right to protest!
