Default Killed a newish accord in my sho

Earlier tonight I was heading to my girlfriends house on a fourlane highway. Eventually I ended up at a stoplight with a newish accord. I was in the right lane and had to turn left at the next stop light so I figured I'd just hit the gas and change lanes up ahead of him. The light turns green and I ease on the gas gradually going to WOT and as I approached the speed limit (55) I looked over my shoulder to make sure I wouldn't be cutting anyone off and I happen to see an accord about a car length behind me. I ask myself, "Is this guy serious?" So I keep it floored up to 75 then kill it, figuring that 20 over is fast enough. As the accord does it's well anticipated flyby I see it has dual exhaust meaning its the v6 version (correct me if I'm wrong). Only in an accord can you lose a race to a taurus who's driveris unaware of the race.

I would never classify a sho as a taurus. I owned a 93 ATX (stock) and 94 ATX (Modded intake/exhaust) and would walk other cars left to right. Hell my buddy had a 92 MTX and was walked on a 94 GT. 220hp in a taurus is wild. What year is yours?

Its a 94 automatic. Only mod is that my dad and I removed the silencer cone and got at most 2 more hp.

Nice kill, but I doubt he was trying. The "newer" Accords run mid to low 14's stock, which is enough to keep up with and beat an SHO from any year.

just because I was going WOT doesn't mean I knew I was racing him. I was just accelerating fast so I could change lanes faster.

Right, but what's the difference between just going WOT with another car going WOT and racing?[&:]

Nice kill I guess. You probably raced one that's a few years older (2003-2006), and those cars are no slouch. Have you taken your SHO to the track?
