-Dodge uses fake Hemispherical combustion chambers, todays automakers use Polyspherical combustion chambers(which are considerably more efficient than Hemi ones),marketing the "HEMI" name to uneducated people to make money.
Example: The 2007 Dodge Ram 'HEMI' 1500 has 345 cubic inches, thus, has 345 horsepower. This is Horsepower per Cubic Inch in a pushrod motor, wheres the Hemi power? Automakers have been doing this for 30 years in a pushrod motor, the 1970 Corvette Stringray 350 C.I. had 350 HP. Todays auto manufacturers use a "Polyspherical" wedge head design which is considerably more efficient and powerful than the 'Hemi' one. "HEMI" is just a marketing tool used by Chrysler to take advantage of people who don't understand engines.
-Dodge uses the Body-on-Frame design instead of the Unibody design for it's Sports Cars. Body on Frame style chasis' end up being very heavy, and have no crumble zone(a safety feature). Heavy & Unsafe Sports Car? [:@]
-I've owned a Dodge Neon. Head gaskets, leaks, broken valves, overheating, mysterious water appearance, and the poorest paint quality I've ever seen. Have you ever stalled an automatic?...I have.[&o]

I had a buddy with a neon and he said he was really scared when it would not shake/rattle or make bad noises because he KNEW something was really wrong with it then......
i had a dodge neon for my first car. yea the thing had no balls whatsoever, but it never gave me any problems. i used to always redline that thing from stoplights too to keep up with traffic. fun little car for the money
