When I get into 5th gear at like 45-50mph I can feel it bucking a lil hardly noticable. But I'm sure the car has never had any true maintmence being that I bought it with 50,000 miles it's an 03 Mustang GT 5 speed. What should I do? I guess plugs/wires/ iono...

The car is stock except for a cai and in June I'm looking to put a cat-back on it.

manual i'm guessing? personally i flush and refill the radiator, power steering fluid, gear oil, trans fluid, and clean the throttle body and intake every 30k. if those haven't been done i would do that.

After you follow Ponyponer's advice. Do the brake fluid too.
Throw a thermostat in it during the coolant flush.

As for the ignition parts. Can't argue with wires as preventative maintenance but they will usually let you know when they are due.
As for plugs. Yes. and don't forget the antiseize on the threads.

i drain and refill the brake fluid whenever i change the pads. i also change the fuel filter every 30k. tune ups 40k or 50k should be good.
