Got the new wheels and tires on my '86 Mercury Capri and snapped a few pics to whore out.

That's cool you noticed the 5.0 emblem. LOL. I didn't just spray over it. I removed it, painted it seperately, painted the car, then re-applied the emblem. I got the idea from a late model black Z28 that my buddy owned... it had black emblems from the factory and I thought it looked cool. I wanted the fender painted black under the emblem incase I ever change my mind and want to put a new chrome 5.0 emblem back on.

sweet car dude, i love them capris, IMHO the hatch is ugly tho, needs a mustang hatch, i kinda like the tails tho...

Ahh, makes sense :) I like it, lol. Ever thought about outlining it in red to match the calipers/interior? or gunmetal to match the wheels?

there was one in jacksonville on craiglist found it on four eye pride he dropped the price all the way down to 1600$ obo i missed out :( ony had 80k on the car and it was a ttops car also[&o] i wanted it so bad oh well

That's why I posted the thread with pics of the three sets of wheels and the three cars... I just couldn't decide. I agree that they would look good on the white car too, but when It's done, it'll get the white set of wheels... for a while, then I'm sure I'll be swapping them with the black car later on. LOL.

me and my dad are probably getting a capri to make into an autocross car, i love them

but yeah, so many combos will look good with the cars/wheels, gotta pick n choose

Yep. That confirms it. When I take down my paint in a few weeks to redo it, Im shaving the antenna, door locks, and painting the badges. I thought about it and now I see it, its a def.:)
