i got 4;30s and still get 20 maybe highway. i was averaging 18 miles to a gallon on a tank traveling 142 miles combined from work, and back. about 25 miles of that has lights, and there are tolls to stop through. stock you should be getting 18 miles city. thats n a well tuned motor. factory rating was 18 city 25 highway.
A mach with factory gears, high flow mid pipe, intake is capable of over 30mpg. If you dont beilive me look at modified mustangs magizine page 20, to sum it up its an article on how machs kick a** in the fuel econmy department.

full bolt ons minus headers and intake spacer. some suspension work, and a few appearance items = sex on wheels.
I'm not really sure what i was averaging when I was stock, though I know even with the procharger, that if I don't romp on it too hard, I can average about 27 on the highway. City is a little worse, I get around 16-ish maybe 17 in the city if I don't romp on it. Can't really complain about that TOO much.

LOL.. that right there explains a lot brudda.. 6.2 million ppl live in the Dallas/Ft. Worth metroplex, and if you don't live in the suburbs, there are a LOT of places that have lights about every 150 yards, or sometimes less if you're downtown. lol Especially during rush hour that makes for a LOT of bumper to bumper stop & go, especially if you're anywhere near the 635/820 loop.. lol
wow 21 is impressive. I still have yet to pick up a mach tho. I dont know if you guys remember my thread, but they have it down to 22,995 from orginal 26,995. I also did the math: its cheaper for me to run premium on the mach with 17mpg then the reg on the jeep that gets like 12 lol.
