Stage 2 doesn't come with the BAP, that's only required for Stages 3 & 4. So I won't have to upgrade fuel pumps.

Brenspeed was booked through sometime towards the end of June, so I'm doing the install myself. I have access to a shop with more than enough tools, a lift and an air compressor all with no time constraints.

I think I'll be happy with the Stage 2. For me the concern was more about longevity, not necessarily maxing out on hp.

If longevity is the issue then go with stage 1 and have a saleen authorized dealer install it and send your PCM to saleen and you keep the warranty.   I was told by saleen using anything other then their pulley's and tune or install it yourself you lose the warranty

I only have a year left on my warranty. I'm talking more like 5-10 years down the road.

I would suggest doing stage 4 but dropping the pulley a size
like hammeron suggested.  Reason I suggest it is going faster
is majorly addicting!

I am running the Saleen SC w/475hp upgrade with a steeda CAI, which I think is close to the Stage 2.  I am making 438rwhp, the only major issues have been shifting and traction, but I am working on fixing the shifting problem, and the traction problem is some what fixed with the MT ET streets.  As for boost I am making a solid 6.5psi on the 3.8 pulley.

Well I drove my Stang today for the first time after installing the Stage 2 Saleen kit. Last night I installed Prothane lowering engine mounts. The hood wouldn't close with the hood liner in place at stock engine height. So now I can leave the liner on and there is'nt any rubbing. Plus with the Prothanes the engine feels more solidly connected to the car.

All I can say about the performance is WOW!  Even with my BMR LCAs and Nitto tires it easily breaks the tires loose in 2nd gear when I step on it.

I installed a boost gauge today and all I have left is the A/F ratio monitor. For those of you with a wideband A/F, how did you get the bung welded into place for the sensor? There is only a short area between the cats and the exhaust manifold at a 45 deg. angle and it looks like the best way to get it welded right is to remove the stock H-pipe & cat assembly.  Do speed shops or exhaust shops weld it in place?
